Population growth is a global issue that contributes to the changes in distribution and concentration of population. affects sustainable development an area from both social spatial point view. To relate problem local issue, this research investigates one Malaysian government policies addressed as New Economic Policy (NEP) because policy may be linked long-term demographic Peninsular Malaysia, particularly people. Back 1970, was implemented after unwanted incident on 13 May 1969. Its goals were eradicate poverty regardless race restructure society by eliminating identification with economic functions. measure successfulness policy, two indicators derived are racial occupational segregation. The magnitude for segregations calculated using Entropy Index (H). values then carried forward evaluate relationship between these variables. final analysis conducted Local Bivariate Relationships application Geographic Information System (GIS) tool. outputs reflect are, (i) reduced inequalities, (ii) cities communities Malaysia.
